Irony epidemic as Chinese prisoners are forced to mine coal for Christmas

The World Health Organisation advised everyone earlier today to turn off their world news this Christmas in order to combat a drastic increase in cases of Irony.

After a British family received a plea for help hidden within a stack of Christmas cards regarding slave labor and Human Rights abuse within a Chinese prison camp 3 days before Christmas Eve. Only to be ignored because people are too busy with their own season of giving and kindness, experts warn China that then sending the prisoners to a coal mine might cause drastic overdoses in Irony to anyone paying attention.

The announcement came after a charitable donation of socks arrived at the camp yesterday morning.

“People who pay attention are at dire risk of headaches, confusion and angerWe are lucky this letter wasn’t addressed to Santa, otherwise the situation could have been much worse“.

China has denied the allegations, stating that the prison houses inmates that “have been very naughty”. But only contains one factory, where work is voluntary, which produces toys to be shipped West.

“There is no abuse in our work placements, all our workers are like happy little elves.”
